Salmon with Tofu
1 salmon steak ( about 2/3 pound )
1 rectangle traditional tofu
6 dried chinese mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cooking wine
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
black pepper as desired
1 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch water
sesame oil as needed
1. Cut tofu in strips and cook in water in pan.
2. Remove skin and bones from salmon, cut into thick strips and add to tofu along with cooking wine and salt, cook
until done. Cook tofu for another 5 minutes.
3. Soak the dried mushroom until soft, rinse mushroom and remove stems, add to tofu, drizzle soy sauce and thicken liquid with cornstarch water, then sprinkle with pepper and chopped scallion Remove to serving plate and drizzle with a little sesame oil . Serve.
