Lotus Seeds, Red Dates with Lily Bulb Dessert

This dessert moisten lung, stop coughing and calms mind.


5 ounces lily bulb
7 ounces lotus seeds
2 ounces white fungus
8 cups water
10 red dates
rock sugar to taste


1. Rinse and soak lily bulb and lotus seeds.

2. Soak white fungus and remove the stems. Divide them.

3. Remove pits from red dates, soak them.

4. Bring water to boil. Put all ingredients into boiling water and lower the heat.

5. Cook for 20 minutes until all ingredients are soft.

6. Add in sugar to taste.
