Ham and Pork with Turnips in Soup

This soup may reduce inner heat, ideal for brighten eyes.


6 ounces green turnips
6 ounces carrots
3 ounces chinese ham
8 ounces lean pork
1/2 dried tangerine peel
6 cups water
a pinch salt


1. Peel green turnips and carrots. Wash and cut into serving pieces. Wash lean pork scald and rinse again. Soak and clean dried tangerine peel. Slice ham.

2. Bring water to the boil. Put in green turnips, carrots, ham, lean pork and tangerine peel. Boil again. Parboil over low heat for 2 1/2 hours. Season with salt.
