Ribs with Veggies


1 1/3 pounds spare ribs
1/4 cabbage
1 small carrot
1 potato
2 tomatoes

1 tablespoon cooking wine
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoon ketchup
2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 tablespoon sugar
4 cups water


1. Blanch ribs in boiling water, remove and rinse out bubbles and drain.

2. Rinse cabbage and cut into big pieces. Peel carrot and cut into chunks. peel potato and cut into chunks.

3. Cook ribs, carrot, water in pan for 20 minutes, add potato, and cook until soft, then add cabbage and tomato and cook until done.

4. Add all seasonings, wait until all ingredients are soft, flavor is absorbed and liquid is almost dry, thicken liquid with cornstarch water. Remove to plate and serve.
