Review #1: it's a toy figure 2007-05-07 what can you say...it is a toy figure. they love playing with it.
Review #2: great toy for harry fans 2005-12-26 my 4 1/12 year old loves it. very nice size with broom and snitch and stand and it is magnitized so her can hold the broom and snitch. get to follow along with the movie which is what my son loves to do with it and loves it so much, I plan on getting lots of different figures for different parts of the movies.
Review #3: A Decent Figure 2005-12-16 As far as collectibles go, this "Quidditch Harry Potter" is a nice find. The figure is very detailed and includes a nice display stand as well as a broomstick and a snitch. However, even with magnetic hands and fit, Potter looks quite awkward on the broom when set up for display.
As a child's toy, this figure is excellent. It is rather durable and will provide hours of fun for any child. You could play Quidditch with this figure all day long.
I do have to say that the size of the toy is impressive. Unlike many of today's action figures (and most of the last two decades as well), this figure is large enough to rough house with and not be afraid to lose any of the parts. The snitch does pose a choking hazard for younger kids, but this is still a safe toy for youngsters to play with.
Overall, a nice figure to collect, an even better figure to play with.
Review #4: Awesome Toy 2005-11-27 This toy is the best action figure you can buy for the price. The feet and the hands are magnetic, so you can attach it to the broom and the golden snitch. The action figure is pretty big, it is about the size of a Gi-Joe action figure. The only thing I would say is not good is the snitch its kinda impossible to catch it, overall it is a very good action figure.
Review #5: The best Quidditch Harry figure! 2005-08-25 I like this figure a lot. It was sculpted realistically and looks just like Harry Potter. It depicts Harry playing his favorite game, quidditch. He has a magnet on his hands to hold the broom, and magnets on his feet to support the weight of the broom, which I rested on his foot, to keep it in place.
He comes with a stand which can be easily assembled. He can then be placed in any number of poses. I put a rubber band around the figure's waist, and anchored it to the top part of the stand behind Harry, to ensure that he stays on it, as he will fall off of it when moved.
I am a middle aged man, and don't play with my Quidditch Harry Figure. I display it on a shelf and it looks great. It ought to provide a lot of fun for children. It looks durable but can break if played with roughly. I also don't feel it is for children under age four, as there may be a choking hazard due to small parts.
The figure looks fun, and is easily the best Quidditch Harry Potter figure I have seen. It can be considered educational, as it would encourage children to read the Harry Potter books. |
