All kitchens need a funnel, and this big one does more than simply transfer liquids from one container to another without creating a mess. Inside there's a detachable strainer so solids can be filtered from liquids. Use it to strain out those burned bits from cooking oil so it can be reused, for example, or use when making beer, herb-infused vinegars, or garlic oil for cooking. I tried that the first time I used my deep fat fryer. This doesn't filter as much but only takes minutes rather than days. Price was good as well.

This is definitely a very nice funnel - easy to wash up, etc, BUT I feel like the pore size on the filter doesn't catch all the fine stuff like it should. Other than that is easy to use though.

I bought this to strain oil from my deep fat fryer. It is hard to tell online how sturdy a product line this might be so I had low expectations. It is a well made unit and I am happy with it
