Chicken Soup with Dried Shiitake Mushroom
3 ounces dried shiitake mushroom
1 1/2 ounce dried chinese yam
2/3 ounce medlar
1 whole chicken
5 ounces lean pork
8 cups water
2 slices ginger
1. Soak and wash dried yam and mushrooms separately. Trim mushrooms.

4. Parboil over low heat for 3 hours. Season with salt.
