Rosemary and Lemon Syrup


Help to ward off stomach and bowel infection, including traverllers' diarrhoea.

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups rosamary sprigs, gently pressed down a measuring jug
2 1/2 cups boiling water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 pound sugar

Instructions:

1. Place the rosemary in a pot or jug and pour over boiling water. Cover and leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Strain into a pan and add the lemon juice and sugar.

2. Heat slowly, stirring, until the sugar dissolved. Boil brisk-
ly for 5-8 minutes or until the syrup starts to thicken. Remove from heat and when cool pour into jars or bottles.

3. Seal with airthght lids when cold. Take 1-2 tablespoons as required until your hangover subsides.
