Papaya Salad


This dish is a very good appetizer. Papaya contains papaya enzyme, which is good for the digestive system It also reduces coughing, and is good for the spleen and lungs.

Ingredients:

1 papaya
4 red chillies
1/2 ounce coriander
2 tablespoon chopped peanuts
1 teaspoon dried shrimp

Seasoning:
(1)
1 teaspoon salt

(2)
1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions:

1. Peel and de-seed the papaya, cut into thin strips. Mix
with salt then leave for 30 minutes. Wash off the salt
with clean water, and then dry.

2. Soak the dried shrimps in warm water for 10 minutes then chop them. Chop the chillies and coriander as well. Mix all the
ingredients with seasoning (2), sprinkle the chopped
peanuts on top.
