Mustard Green Stems and Medlar


This dish helps nourish the Kidneys, benefit Qi and improve eye sights.

Ingredients:

4 mustard green stems
8 gram medlar
16 pieces ginkgo fruit
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
1 teaspoon seasame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions:

1. Rinse the mustard green stems thoroughly. Cut into pieces.

2. Place mustard green in boiling water with baking soda in it. Cook for 1 minute. Lift out and soak in cold water.

3. Bring chicken stock to boil. Add salt, pepper powder, seasame oil, medlars and ginkgo fruit. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Thicken the sauce with cornstarch. Place mustard green stems and cook for 1/2 minute.

15 minutes
