Sticky Pork Ribs


Ingredients:

1 1/2 pound pork ribs
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon five spice powder
3 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 tablespoon soy sauce
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tablespoon cornflour
1/2 teaspoon salt
chives and sliced spring onion to garnish

Instructions:

1. Combine the brown sugar, five spice powder, hoisin
sauce, soy sauce, garlic, cornflour and salt in a
bowl, then mix together well.

2. Place the pork ribs in a ovenproof dish and pour the marinade over . Mix thoroughly, cover and leave in a cool place for 1 hour.

3. Preheat the oven to 180'C or 350'F. Cover the dish
tightly with foil and bake the pork ribs from time to time
with the cooking juice ( marinade juice).

4. Bake the pork ribs for 20 minutes until glossy and brown. Garnish with chives and spring onion and serve with salad or rice.
